Matt and I have never been to San Francisco… It is definitely on our vacation list though!

This week, I had the chance to visit for a business meeting, and I thought I’d share some of the exploring I did this evening.

Frist, I took the trolley to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Boudin Bakery does some really creative things with sourdough….

I didn’t try anything this time, but they will ship them to your house so they are there when you return. Also, if you’d like to take a bakery tour, they will do that as well, but you have to schedule ahead of time.

After that, I headed back to the trolley and back in the general direction of my hotel, which is in the financial district.

The wait for the trolley was ridiculous… and COLD!

I was dropped off right in front of my hotel, The Sir Francis Drake, and then I walked passed some of the downtown shops (including Macy’s) which I hope I have time to visit tomorrow!

It was a bit of a hike, but I had dinner at the Wayfare Tavern, a delicious Tyler Florence restaurant. It was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it! It reminded me a lot of The Henry in Phoenix, just more compact because… well, everything is in San Fran.

Don’t worry Matt, I haven’t seen 1/4 of what there is to see here! We will still have an amazing time!

Now, if this saxophone player would tone it down just a notch, I might get some sleep before my 8am meeting.
